A man was injured after the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a sewage pipe at a lift station in North Naples.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened near Cypress Way E and Heritage Way Monday night.

According to CCSO, the vehicle struck another vehicle before hitting the pipe. No one was injured in the other vehicle, and the crash is under investigation.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The sewage pipe broke but utility crews were working on it. CCSO deputies said there was a small water leak but there was no flooding and no road closures either.
