Tow truck driver hit, killed by car on U.S. 27 in Highlands County

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol was on the scene of a collision on Interstate 95 north in Nassau County, between US-17 and SR-200.

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office told drivers to expect significant delays. Vehicles were rerouted at I-95 and SR-200.

A Florida Department of Transportation camera showed two semi-trucks that appear to have collided.
