A man was found shot to death Monday night on Ricker Road on Jacksonville’s Westside, police said.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, police were called to Ricker Road near Durrance Road around 8:15 p.m. Monday and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.
He died at the scene.
Police said “multiple people of interest” were detained at the scene, and they believe it was a “contained and isolated incident.”
It’s unclear what led to the man’s shooting death, and police and the State Attorney’s Office are investigating.
