Bicyclist killed after collision with Tri-Rail train near Lake Worth Beach station

A bicyclist was struck and killed by the Tri-Rail Train just steps from the station in Lake Worth Beach.

According to deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, communications received a call at 7:41 this morning reporting the collision.

When officials arrived, they found that the man had succumbed to his injuries.

Eastbound lanes will remain closed while deputies investigate and clear the scene, per PBSO.
