Man stabbed during armed robbery in Miami, police say

Miami police are investigating after a man in his 60s was stabbed Friday morning, authorities confirmed to Local 10 News.

According to police, the incident was reported at 7:27 a.m. in the area of Northeast Miami Avenue and 80^th Terrace.

Police said the victim was stabbed during an armed robbery in which his wallet was stolen.

The victim was transported by Miami Fire Rescue medics to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. His condition has not yet been released.

Anyone with information about the robbery and stabbing is asked to call the Miami Police Department or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
