Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run at Narcoosee Road and Countryside Court in Osceola County

A bicyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The fatal wreck happened around 3:35 a.m. on Narcoossee Road at Countryside Court near St. Cloud.

The FHP said an unknown vehicle, possibly a white Toyota, was traveling north on Narcoossee Road and failed to maintain the outside lane, striking a man riding a bike, who was also northbound.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, an FHP crash report said.

The vehicle drove away after striking the bike, according to troopers.

A car part from an unknown model of a white Toyota was found at the scene, but it’s not known if the car was involved in the fatal wreck, the FHP said.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the FHP at 407-737-2213 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.

Roads were blocked in the area after the wreck.
