Two Spring Hill Men Killed in Single Car Crash

A single car crash claimed the lives of two Spring Hill men who were not wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Sgt. Steve Gaskins, shortly before 10:30 pm on Nov. 20, a Cadillac ATS Sedan driven by a 23-year-old Spring Hill man was traveling south on Mariner Boulevard north of Casa Grande Circle when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.

As a result, the vehicle briefly entered the median and south of Casa Grande Circle, crossed back over the southbound lanes of the roadway and collided with two transformer utility boxes and a concrete wall.

The sedan’s passenger, a 25-year-old man also from Spring Hill, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries at the scene.
