BMW crashes into fence, catches fire after driver loses control on I-275: troopers

A driver was left uninjured after his vehicle crashed in Hillsborough County late Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a BMW 328i was traveling northbound on I-275 near Milepost 48 at 11:10 p.m.

Troopers said the car completed a last-second lane change to exit on Sligh Avenue when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The BMW traveled to the shoulder, hit a fence, entered a ditch, and caught fire.

The driver was able to evacuate uninjured, troopers said.
