A boat crashed into a piling in Charlotte County, leaving two injured, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission confirmed.
The FWC said it, along with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and Charlotte County Fire & EMS responded to the scene of a single-vehicle incident near Stump Pass. The FWC added that preliminary information indicates that a single vessel with three occupants onboard was travelling in Lemon Bay when it struck a piling.
Two of the occupants were transported to the hospital for treatment.
