A 61-year-old Bradenton man was killed after losing control of his SUV and crashing into a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
At 4:30 p.m. April 4, the man was traveling north on 9th Street East when he lost control of the vehicle, veered off the roadway and onto the grass shoulder, and struck a tree, troopers said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
