Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-95 in Brevard County, troopers say

A motorcyclist was killed after crashing on Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the rider was traveling southbound on I-95 near mile marker 176 when a witness reported the motorcycle veered off the roadway to the left and struck a light pole.

The rider was taken to Palm Bay Hospital, where the person was pronounced dead, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
