Canadian man struck, killed by vehicle while crossing street in Boca Raton

An elderly man from Canada was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing the street in Boca Raton.

According to the Boca Raton Police Services Department (BRPSD), the deadly crash occurred on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. near N. Federal Highway.

The crash report says a 2006 Nissan Murano was driving north on N Federal Highway, approaching the intersection of NE 24th Street. As the vehicle drove through the intersection, it struck 86-year-old HW, causing deadly injuries.

Police say the crash is under investigation. If anyone has information about the crash they are asked to contact police at 561-620-6147.
