The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said on Tuesday afternoon, a car and school bus — with children inside — were involved in a crash.

The sheriff’s office said the crash took place about a mile east of SW Indiantown Avenue on SW Kanner Highway.

Photos from the scene show the car sustained the most damage from the crash.

The driver of the car was rushed to a nearby hospital, while none of the children inside the school bus were injured.

The sheriff’s office said at around 7 p.m., the crash was in the process of being cleared.
