Young man stabbed to death during fight inside Arlington apartment:  Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office

A man in his early 20s was stabbed early Thursday morning during an altercation inside an apartment on University Boulevard North in Arlington, Jacksonville police said. Sgt. Steve Rudlaff said the man was taken to Memorial Hospital by paramedics but died at the hospital. Investigators have detained several people for interviews, but the circumstances of the fight and the relationships of those involved are unclear, Rudlaff said. 80-year-old woman dead after Englewood crash

An 80-year-old woman was killed after a crash in Englewood Wednesday afternoon. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan was headed south on Pine Street, south of 5th Street. At around 1:13 p.m., the sedan was driving in the right lane and tried to make a U-turn across traffic. An SUV in the left lane reportedly crashed into the sedan. The sedan driver was critically injured and taken to a local hospital. She was later pronounced dead, FHP said.

 A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a rear-end crash on State Road 528 near Florida’s Turnpike in Orlando, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
