SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Two people were killed in a crash involving a motorcycle in south Fort Myers Monday evening. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened south of Gladiolus Drive on US-41. According to reports, the driver lost control of the motorcycle, which then overturned onto its side. State Road 56 reopened to traffic Monday afternoon after a semi-truck was hit by an SUV and spilled nearly 40 tons of gravel, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
