The high-speed crash at a busy Pensacola intersection on Wednesday morning left an unborn baby dead, according to Pensacola police. Police say the crash happened at 7:27 a.m. at North Ninth Avenue and Bayou Boulevard when a southbound vehicle traveling on Ninth Avenue at a high rate of speed disregarded a red light at Bayou Boulevard and struck another vehicle on the driver’s side. The vehicle that was hit was occupied by a woman who was pregnant, according to police.

Two people who were riding a scooter in Miami were injured Thursday afternoon in a crash, police confirmed. According to Miami police, the scooter was struck by a vehicle just before 1:30 p.m. in the area of Southwest 31st Avenue and 23rd Street.
