WILTON MANORS, FLA. (WSVN) – A 23-year-old roofer died after falling from the top of a five-story building in Wilton Manors, police said. Wilton Manors Police said officers responded around 9 a.m., Thursday, to the 2600 block of Northeast 14th Avenue, where the man had fallen from the rooftop. A Wildwood man has been tracked down after allegedly hitting a pedestrian with his car and leaving her with a broken leg.  On Thursday, Aug. 28, an officer learned of a hit-and-run crash resulting in a woman sustaining serious injuries, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. A man was hospitalized after he was shot in his car on Wednesday morning, according to the Orlando Police Department. Police said the incident occurred on Orange Center Boulevard at Goldwyn Avenue. The victim flagged down an officer nearby after he was shot in the leg.
