According to deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Bridge Road and I-95. Deputies say a 16-year-old boy, who was a student at Martin County High School, and a 15-year-old girl from Jupiter both succumbed to their injuries from the crash. Miami police are investigating after they said a male was shot in the stomach in the city’s Design District area on Saturday. It happened near the 40th block of Northeast 41st Street. Police said the victim, a Black male, was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. They have not released the victim’s age, identity, condition, or information about a possible suspect in connection with the shooting. Interstate 10 westbound reopened on Saturday after being reduced to one lane due to a vehicle fire in Santa Rosa County. One person died and two others were injured on Friday in a hit-and-run crash on University Boulevard South near St. Cecilia, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
