Officers are investigating a shooting that wounded one person early on Friday morning in Gainesville. Gainesville Police Department officers say just after midnight, a 23-year-old man was shot in the 1000 block of Northeast 23rd Street while attending a party. Officers say the man was shot in the leg. His injuries aren’t considered life-threatening. A Clermont woman was arrested for battering four staff members at LifeStream because she did not want to change her pants. An officer responded to LifeStream, located at 2020 Tally Rd., regarding 34-year-old DLS battering staff around 12:10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. A man was arrested after he attacked another man in Homestead on Thursday, police said. Homestead police responded to the 300 block of West Mowry Drive for a report of a man with a severe neck and head injury. Two people were seriously injured when an RV caught fire in Hernando County early Friday morning, fire rescue said. Crews responded to the scene on Goolsby Street at around 3 a.m. on Jan. 2 to find fire engulfing one RV and spreading to another. Two occupants were suffering serious burn injuries, HCFR said.  A man was shot Thursday night in Pompano Beach, the Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed. According to a BSO spokesperson, the shooting was reported shortly after 9 p.m. in the2800 block of Northwest Seventh Street.
