A woman was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after being shot in the face at an apartment complex in Jacksonville’s Argyle Forest neighborhood during an argument with her boyfriend, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.  The United States Coast Guard lifted a Florida boater to safety off the coast of Clearwater after his fishing boat caught fire. More than a year after 34-year-old Rachal Santa Maria was fatally struck while crossing Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach police are still searching for the driver who fled the scene.
