A man was pronounced dead after his motorcycle struck a utility pole on State Road 62, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Troopers said that on Dec. 6, at 11:10 a.m., the motorcyclist was traveling west on State Road 62 near Methodist Church Road when he traveled off the roadway, entered the north grass shoulder and hit a utility pole. A woman from Starke was killed while driving through Bradford County late Friday night. Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the 25-year-old was driving on Southeast 109th Street and Southeast 30th Place near Hampton. An 86-year-old Indialantic man struck and killed an elderly pedestrian while driving along State Road A1A on Thursday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
