The Brief  A multi-vehicle crash involving two tractor-trailers shut down part of Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County early Friday.  The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 257 and Interstate 4.  Authorities are investigating after a person was hit by a vehicle Thursday night in Sunny Isles Beach. The call came in just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Collins Avenue and 189th Street.
