A man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after he was stabbed in Fort Lauderdale, police said. According to Fort Lauderdale Police, at around 5:30 a.m., officers arrived at the 1100 block of G. H. M. Drive after receiving reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, firefighters with the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) reported that two cars were impacted, with one small SUV completely overturned in the middle of the roadway. According to officials, all parties were able to exit their vehicles without firefighter intervention. One person was injured and transported to a local hospital.

The U.S. Coast Guard responded to a boat collision Sunday afternoon near Nixon Beach that left one person injured, officials said. Officials said a 34-foot and a 35-foot vessel collided around 4:50 p.m. A Coast Guard crew provided first aid to one boater, who was then transferred to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for further treatment. The Florida Highway Patrol said 21-year-old Brandon man was killed after being involved in a “nearly head-on” collision in Dade City Saturday night. The crash happened at around 6:45 p.m. on Blanton Road between a Hyundai Elantra and a Chevy Equinox traveling opposite directions. The 21-year-old was driving the Hyundai, heading east. A 15-year-old cyclist who was involved in a crash with another teenager in Dunedin last month died on Sunday. On Oct. 22, 15-year-old V. R. was riding his bicycle north on New York Avenue, approaching Main Street. According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, at the same time, a 2024 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 16-year-old was traveling east on Main Street, resulting in a collision. An 85-year-old St. Pete man who is accused of running over a pedestrian in a Publix parking lot last Friday admitted to police that he knew he ran “something” over, but still didn’t stop and drove home instead. Just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Publix on 37th Avenue North, D. B. struck and ran over an elderly woman in the parking lot before fleeing the scene, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.
