Fire crews were able to extinguish a house fire in Miramar. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a man died Thursday afternoon after he was stabbed inside the Anheuser-Busch facility. According to police, the incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on Busch Drive, and when officers arrived at the scene, they found the man with a single stab wound to his chest.  A woman was stabbed Thursday morning at a convenience store in northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the stabbing happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. at the Quick Stop, located at 3101 NW 46th St. Investigators said the victim, a woman, was attacked by another woman who she knew. A Hollywood man was arrested Tuesday night after police said he struck a child with a cellphone and caused a disturbance at a restaurant inside Aventura Mall. According to an arrest report from the Aventura Police Department, the incident began around 7:30 p.m. at the Tap 42 restaurant, where officers were called to a disorderly conduct complaint. Witnesses told police the man, RFO, appeared intoxicated and was being “belligerent and abusive” toward a child with him, according to the report.

A 17-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday after colliding with a dump truck on Interstate 75 near Wesley Chapel, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 10:10 a.m. near the 279-mile marker. Troopers said the motorcyclist changed lanes and collided with the passenger side of a tractor-trailer, north of County Road 54. Firefighters in Fort Myers responded to a car that caught fire inside the Lee County employee parking garage, located just off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, on Thursday morning.
