The crash occurred Wednesday morning three miles south of Bermont Road. At 7:07 a.m., Charlotte County Public Safety crews were dispatched to State Road 31 and Bermont Rd. for a head-on collision. A 75-year-old man died after losing control of his E-bike in Port Charlotte. The incident occurred on the Harbor Boulevard east side sidewalk on early Tuesday morning, where the E-bike collided with shrubbery and a lamp post.
