Troopers say the incident occurred north of East Kingsfield Road involving a car and a pickup truck. The truck ended up on its roof in a vacant lot next to ‘The Happy Taco’ parking area. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating four separate shootings that occurred within 13 hours between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning, leaving two people dead and two others injured. The first shooting occurred around 3 p.m. Saturday inside a business on Lane Avenue South, where a man was fatally shot. The second incident took place around 9:30 p.m. Saturday near Philips Highway and Baymeadows Road. The victim walked into a local hospital after the shooting and later died from his injuries.

One person is dead and one is in the hospital with critical injuries after a crash in Charlotte County on Saturday night. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the scene of a crash on Marion Avenue around 10:22 p.m. FHP said a motorcycle was traveling west on the road and was directly behind an e-bike traveling in the same direction.
