An investigation is underway in Fort Lauderdale Saturday morning after a person was stabbed, police said. According to Fort Lauderdale Police, officers and fire rescue crews arrived at the 1300 block of Northeast Fifth Terrace at around 1:56 a.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing. Once at the scene, a person with non-life-threatening injuries was found, and they were taken to the Broward Health Medical Center. Clearwater police said a pedestrian was hit and killed by a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus Saturday evening on the 2700 block of Gulf to Bay Boulevard.  Hillsborough County Fire Rescue removed an individual involved in a motor vehicle accident requiring extrication on Thursday. According to HCFR, responders arrived on scene and took just 11 minutes to safely remove the individual from the vehicle. Photos of the rescue show HCFR responders working diligently to rapidly free the driver from the damaged vehicle.
