 A shooting involving a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy occurred Sunday evening in unincorporated Broward County, authorities confirmed. According to BSO, the agency received a call around 5:35 p.m. about a man walking around the Franklin Park area, in the 2500 block of Northwest Ninth Court, waving a gun. Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with the man, ordering him to put his hands up. At some point during the encounter, shots were fired by a deputy, BSO confirmed.

 A Jacksonville man died Sunday night after being hit by two cars on Philips Highway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Around 9:30 p.m., a 40-year-old man crossed Philips Highway, near Energy Center Drive, from the outside shoulder. Three people have been hospitalized after a vehicle rolled and struck the median of I-4 at mile marker 22 in Seminole County on Saturday, according to the Seminole County Fire Department. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said two people were injured in a domestic shooting on Sunday. OCSO deputies responded to the 2200 block of Okada Court after midnight Sunday morning for a reported shooting. At the scene, deputies found a man and a woman, both in their 20s, who had been shot. A crash early Sunday in Lake County killed a man, left another badly hurt, and forced the temporary closure of U.S. 27 in Clermont, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 1:54 a.m. just north of of Frank Jarrell Road, troopers said. The Gulfport Police Department said an arrest has been made after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday night. The woman, later identified as St. Pete resident Kjersten Aileen-Hermance Strang, 38, was riding an e-bike on 49th Street South at around 10 p.m. when she was struck by a passing car. Gulfport PD said she died of her injuries at the scene. Strang was struck by 22-year-old Xavier Rigby, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said. When he struck her,
