An unmarked vehicle from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office struck a pedestrian early Friday morning in Belle Glade, resulting in the pedestrian’s death. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving two motorcycles and another vehicle which temporarily closed U.S. 41 near Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. According to FHP, the crash occurred at around 11 p.m. on Thursday, when the motorcycles were traveling southbound when one attempted to pop a wheelie, leading the driver to lose control. A minor was flown to the hospital after he was shot early Friday in Southwest Miami-Dade, according to the sheriff’s office. It happened at around 3:46 a.m. in a residential area near Southwest 140th Place and Southwest 280th Street in the Leisure City neighborhood.
