One person is in the hospital after a deputy-involved shooting during a traffic stop Friday morning. Marion County Sheriff’s deputies say they responded to a home in Reddick at around 2:45 a.m. in reference to a call about a suspicious person. Deputies say they saw a vehicle recklessly driving away from the home upon their arrival. They attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the driver refused to stop. A man was shot Friday morning after attempting to force his way into a home and threatening the people inside, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said. HCSO responded to a home on the 3400 block of Gentry Road around 1:39 a.m. regarding a domestic complaint. Deputies arrived and learned that the man was trying to force his way into the home and threaten the people inside. A female victim came outside, and the man began physically assaulting her, HCSO said.

The driver crashed into the canal near Avon Lane and West McNab Road, according to the North Lauderdale Fire Rescue Department. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a 49-year-old man died on Thursday night after his mini-bike crashed into the back of a box truck on the city’s Northside. Police said the crash took place just after 8 p.m. near Mays Street and 45th Street. A shooting northwest of downtown West Palm Beach on Wednesday night resulted in a death. The West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) said that officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of 7th Street, which was detected by a ShotSpotter system around 10:45 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers reported finding a man suffering from gunshot wounds. According to WPBPD, the victim was transported to a hospital but did not survive his injuries. Authorities said that
