North Port police responded to a vehicle crash that left two children hospitalized on Tuesday morning. The vehicle crash happened on April 7 at the intersection of Atwater Boulevard and Adderton Avenue, where a vehicle struck the two children who were riding their e-scooters. A driver was killed after crashing into a building near the Merritt Island Causeway on Monday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A Florida woman found herself in a frightening situation after her vehicle drove off a runway and into a retention pond on Sunday.  A Fountain man is in critical condition after a crash on Blue Springs Road on Monday morning. Florida Highway Patrol says a 46-year-old Fountain man in a pickup truck was traveling north on Blue Springs Road, north of Gainer Road, while a 70-year-old Georgia man in a van was traveling south on Blue Springs Road.
