According to a news release, the incident happened about 10:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 20 and Solomon Street in Bristol. One person is dead following an accident at a Jackson County landfill on Monday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, it happened at the Waste Management Springhill Landfill. Troopers said after arriving at the landfill, the driver was negotiating a curve leading to the landfill and failed to do so, traveling off the road.
