An Alabama man was pronounced dead at the scene of a fatal collision with a semi on the Florida Turnpike.  A 22-year-old male driver and a 23-year-old female passenger in a 2025 Hyundai Elantra were traveling on the Florida Turnpike south of Hancock Road near Minneola around 10:16 p.m. Thursday, according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
