A 66-year-old Pensacola woman was critically injured early Monday morning after her sedan collided with a dumpster and bushes in a parking lot. Troopers say the incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. on Mobile Highway when the driver, traveling east in the parking lot, suffered a medical episode, causing her Buick sedan to crash into the dumpster before coming to rest in the bushes. Deputies responded to a shooting in the area of 12730 Citrus Park Lane around 10:00 p.m. and found a 16-year-old with an upper body injury. A pedestrian is dead following a crash involving a Gilchrist County Sheriff’s deputy early Monday morning.
