An officer with the Palm Beach Gardens Police was killed Saturday morning after crashing his motorcycle into a tree, splitting it in half. A 28-year-old Texas male motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Pensacola Beach Saturday morning. Troopers say the incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Via De Luna Drive near Avenida 19.  A 42-year-old Jacksonville woman was struck and killed by a pickup truck Friday night while walking on Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened just after 9:25 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95, north of International Golf Parkway. Troopers said the woman was walking in the left lane when she was hit by a pickup truck. A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Lauderdale Lakes on Friday afternoon, officials said. The incident happened near the intersection of Northwest 29th Street and U.S. 441.
