 A 26-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in the April attack of a 90-year-old woman in her apartment at HarborChase in Dr. Phillips, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced. DMH was arrested on charges of burglary of a dwelling with assault or battery, attempted sexual battery and battery on a person 65 years of age or older. Home damaged, dog killed after explosion in Winter Springs

Photo by: wesh An apartment home was damaged Wednesday morning after an explosion possibly involving a propane tank. Seminole County Fire Rescue said crews responded to a report of a fire on Mosswood Circle in Winter Springs before noon. When they arrived, the front of the apartment home was engulfed in flames. SCFR said the fire was extinguished in less than four minutes. A dog was killed in the fire. Two other pets were rescued. Longwood Fire Rescue also responded.

A man was arrested after deputies say he stabbed a victim in Tampa on May 9.
