The Lynn Haven Police Department has arrested a Bay District Schools bus driver with Child Abuse. According to a Lynn Haven Police Department Facebook post, authorities had received a report through the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center about a child being struck by a school bus driver. Troopers say the incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. when the woman, driving a green pickup truck, was stopped in the paved median at the intersection of US Highway 29 and Chance Road. According to FHP, the woman attempted to cross the highway, driving directly into the path of a 64-year-old Tennessee man traveling southbound in a red SUV.

A 64-year-old Orlando man died Monday morning after she crashed into a building in Orlando, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The fatal wreck happened around 6:30 a.m. on Lake Ellenor Drive. According to an FHP crash report, the man was traveling south when she may have suffered a medical episode, and the 2000 Honda CR-V she was driving collided with a column in front of the building.
