A Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) police officer was arrested Sunday and accused of multiple charges, including domestic battery by strangulation. According to a news release sent out by DCPS on Tuesday, school police officer K L, 30, was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) and accused of false imprisonment and dating violence.  DCPS said Louis, who began employment with the district in September 2021, worked as a school police officer but was not assigned to a particular school.
