ESTERO, Fla. — A car appears to have crashed through the road guard rails on I-75 in Estero near the Corkscrew Road exit early Wednesday morning. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning. According to police, officers responded to the 1300 block of Northwest Eighth Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. PALM SHORES, Fla. — A man was shot to death Wednesday morning by a deputy in Brevard County, according to law enforcement. The shooting occurred at a residence in Palm Shores.
