Two children were hospitalized after they were attacked by a dog in Lauderhill Tuesday morning, officials said. The incident reportedly happened in the 2200 block of Northwest 59th Avenue. According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, the children were transported to Broward Health Medical Center in serious condition. Fire rescue said the two children are 12 years old. One person is dead after their car hit a utility pole on Morris Bridge Road early Tuesday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced. Deputies responded to Morris Bridge Road just south of Cory Lake Boulevard around 3:43 a.m. in regards to a crash with injuries. A 21-year-old man from Tallahassee is dead after a crash on Interstate 10 in Suwannee County Monday afternoon. According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, the 21-year-old man was driving a sedan westbound on I-10 near mile marker 283 just before 1 p.m. when he hit a stopped pickup truck. A 36-year-old man from Mississippi is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Ocala Monday night.
