Around 9 p.m., the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) arrived on the scene near the 800 block of Village Blvd. Detectives’ investigation concluded that a domestic dispute had occurred, resulting in a verbal altercation followed by gunshots. The gunshot victim, a 36-year-old man, was transported to St. Mary Medical Center to be treated for his wound, according to WPBPD.

A woman is accused of throwing a rock at a Universal Volcano Bay employee and injuring him, according to an arrest affidavit. On Thursday, the Orlando Police Department responded to a security room at Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay, located at 6801 Turkey Lake Road, regarding a battery. A vehicle overturned Saturday, causing a shutdown of all southbound lanes on Interstate 75 in Wesley Chapel. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a dump truck carrying rock was north of SR-56 when the driver, a 51-year-old Riverview man, lost control of the vehicle. A man is accused of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend’s entire family after he allegedly pulled a knife on her and her current boyfriend. The Delray Beach Police Department (DBPD) said Jeff Rosen approached his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend while they were seated in a small restaurant park area near 150 E Atlantic Avenue on September 4, 2024. According to the arrest affidavit, R, 51, began yelling obscenities and pulled a knife from his waistband, “swiping” at the couple.

The Tarpon Springs Police Department said one man has died after being shot in the abdomen Friday morning. Police responded to 1208 N. Pinellas Ave and transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wound. Tarpon Springs Police said the incident was isolated and there is no threat to the public.
