Medics airlifted a pedestrian to Jackson Memorial Hospital after a crash in Hialeah Gardens on Friday morning. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the crash happened at around 5:50 a.m. at Okeechobee Road and Northwest 87th Avenue. The victim, an adult, was airlifted as a trauma-alert patient, an MDFR spokesperson said.
