Suspect identified in shooting involving US Marshals at Mel’s Diner in Fort Myers

The Fort Myers Police Department is on the scene of an officer-involved shooting at Mel’s Diner on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers. FMPD is calling it a U.S. Marshals Service task force shooting and said no law enforcement or bystanders were injured as a result of the incident. Woman injured in Pensacola Oakcrest Park shooting, bullets also hit home and vehicle

Shots were fired in a park in Escambia County on Tuesday night, injuring one woman. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office say the shooting happened at Oakcrest Park on Opal Avenue before 8 p.m. Five people were in the park at the time, but only one was injured. Crashes create major delays on I-95 in Brevard County

A couple of crashes on Interstate 95 early Wednesday created delays in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
