A man is fighting for his life after he was shot Sunday night in the Gladeview neighborhood of Miami-Dade County. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 2100 Northwest 73rd Street at around 8 p.m. Once there, they found a man who had been shot, authorities said. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took the victim to the hospital in critical condition. His name was not immediately known. It was not clear if authorities were searching for a suspect.

Marion County deputies are investigating after a person was brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound. Investigators aren’t revealing many details tonight, but say that person showed up to a hospital near Ocala with the gunshot wound this afternoon. Cell phone video appears to have captured the aftermath of a stabbing in Miami that left one man hurt and a father and son arrested.  The stabbing happened at around 8:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Northeast 2nd Street, according to Miami Police. A severe multi-vehicle crash in Miami Gardens Saturday evening killed five people, including four children, and sent five others to the hospital, officials said.
