A man from the city of Alachua was killed in a wreck involving a semi-truck on Wednesday morning. Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a semi-truck was exting the Dollar General Distribution Center on County Road 235A, south of County Road 2054 in Alachua around 6 a.m. A pickup truck headed south struck the side of the trailer.
