The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run near Spectra Apartments in Fort Myers. Deputies swarmed an area off US-41 and Alico Road on Tuesday evening. A 36-year-old Dallas, Texas, man was killed in Wednesday morning’s overnight crash in Santa Rosa County involving two semi-trucks. It happened around 2:10 a.m. on Highway 87 at Allentown Road.
