Motorcyclist thrown into Tampa Bay after crashing into Gandy Bridge dies, as bike bursts into flames

photo by: Florida Highway Patrol A motorcyclist died Saturday night after crashing into an SUV and being thrown off the Gandy Bridge into Tampa Bay. The Florida Highway Patrol said at around 10:35 p.m., a 23-year-old Pinellas Park man was speeding on a motorcycle westbound on the Gandy Bridge. At the same time, a 41-year-old Orlando man in a Hyundai Tucson was also traveling westbound on the bridge. Troopers said the motorcyclist struck the vehicle near the Pinellas County line.

Man injured after crashing into Pink Pussycat Lounge in Tampa

A man was injured after crashing his SUV into the Pink Pussycat Lounge in Tampa on Friday. The Toyota SUV was turning into the parking lot of the Nebraska Avenue business when it was rear-ended by a Ford SUV, according to Tampa police. The crash propelled the Toyota into the building.
