A Florida man received life in prison Friday morning after killing his pregnant stepmother over five years ago, according to the State Attorney’s Office. A 14-year-old student from Palm Beach Lakes High School was arrested on Friday in connection to a shooting that injured an 11-year-old boy. The West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) said the teenage boy was arrested on school grounds after detectives determined the student was the person who pulled the trigger. Following an investigation, detectives said the victim was sitting on a couch inside a home in West Palm Beach when the gun went off across the room on October 14.
