Two people were taken to the hospital on Friday afternoon after a shooting in Delray Beach, police said. The shooting took place at the Village Square Apartment & Condo Building in the 700 block of Village Square Circle. Delray Beach police said the call came in around 3:15 p.m., and that both victims are female, in their late teens. They said the injuries are not life threatening. People at the apartment complex claimed they heard multiple gunshots, according to police.

A 16-year-old DeSoto County teen was arrested after being accused of shooting a victim with metal BB gun pellets. According to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Omar Villa-Suarez is accused of injuring someone after shooting them with a BB gun. The sheriff’s office said the person had multiple injuries. Deputies say Villa-Suarez fled the scene in a white 2007 Ford Expedition. They followed the SUV along SR-31 and initiated a traffic stop. DCSO said Villa-Suarez drove through multiple stop signs.

A woman is wanted following a five-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon on Lillian Highway in Escambia County. It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Lillian Highway at Bauer Road.
