A man has died following an incident at an apartment complex in Orange County overnight, according to deputies. Shortly before 1 a.m. on Friday, deputies were called to the 1600 block of Americana Boulevard regarding a man found unresponsive in an apartment complex courtyard. Marion County Fire Rescue crews saved a worker after he fell from a ladder into a wastewater tank being built. MCFR officials say around noon on Tuesday a construction worker fell at the new wastewater facility under construction at Southwest 80th Street Road. Two men were arrested Wednesday after police say one of them knowingly tried to kill two Lakeland police officers. Authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide shooting in Pompano Beach that left a man and woman dead Thursday afternoon. Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said they received reports of a shooting in the area of Pier Street and Seabreeze Way, not far from the Pompano Beach Pier, around 12:20 p.m. When first responders arrived they found the man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was taken to a local hospital
